Tasting

Nose

Right from the start, you're greeted by the freshness of an orchard: baked apple and a touch of citrus lend a slightly tart opening that merges with darker fruit notes such as raisins and dates. Cinnamon and a hint of leather add depth, while a subtle bitterness of red fruits and a trace of beeswax round out the aromatic profile. This balance of bright and dark notes hints at the complexity of this blend.

Palate

On the palate, the fruity component continues with apple compote, paired with a prominent oak note. Raisins and dates once again make an appearance, combined with an intriguing mix of fresh and aged wood. These wood elements give the whisky a spiciness, accompanied by cinnamon. There's also a hint of caramel, which blends into a creamy texture on the tongue.

Finish

The finish remains distinctly spicy and oak-driven. Orange adds a fruity highlight, while roasted walnuts round off the experience. The finish is medium-length, leaving a satisfying, nutty aftertaste.

Verdicts

Marcel

Track 6: All My Life is simply fun – the fruity sweetness and creamy texture invite you to enjoy it, even though the bold oak note can sometimes feel a bit too dominant. For anyone looking for a full-bodied, characterful blend, this is a very successful dram with plenty of personality.

Sascha

A well-balanced blend with a harmonious fruit-wood symbiosis and complex sherry notes, distinguished by its structured oak character that borders on dominance. Despite the somewhat high price, the multilayered complexity and the balanced finish impress on a technically high level.
