How to read these figures
Hammer, not total. The figure is what the lot fetched under the hammer. Whisky-Online Auctions adds 15% buyer’s premium, plus VAT where it applies, so what you actually pay is higher — shown alongside.
One house, and why. Results come from Whisky-Online Auctions, 2024-02 to 2026-08. Other houses hold far deeper archives, but their terms forbid republishing results without written consent, so we have not taken them.
Condition is not captured. Fill level, label condition, box and provenance move a real bottle well away from the median, and none of them are in this data.
